26 new bills will be drafted in Kazakhstan in 2022. 16 of them will carry out the instructions of the Head of State. It is expected that seven draft laws will be developed in the first half of 2022, and the remaining 19 in the second half of the year. The draft "Social Code" and the bills on local self-government, professional qualifications, development of agglomerations, and heat power engineering are among them. A total of 25 bills were adopted this year, five of which were signed by the President of the country, one was adopted by the Parliament, and 18 are under consideration by the MPs. Another one will be tabled in Parliament by the end of the year.
