In Astana today, a joint session of the Chambers opened the fourth session of the Kazakh Parliament of the eighth convocation, marking the start of a new political season. On the sidelines, Parliament members returning from recess answered questions from journalists. They said that after visits to the regions, they have developed a clear plan for the work ahead. All issues raised by citizens will be addressed.
«Today is a
significant day – the opening of the parliamentary session. Parliament members
are eagerly awaiting the address of the Head of State, scheduled for September
8. He will set new tasks for the Government and Parliament, focusing on
implementing legislative reforms, maintaining economic stability, protecting
human rights, and promoting the harmonious development of society,» said Olga Perepechina, a member of
the Senate, the Upper House of the Kazakh Parliament.
