Kazakh, U.S. Presidents hold phone conversation

On Friday, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. During the call, the Head of State congratulated Trump on the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. President Tokayev also expressed support for Donald Trump’s course based on the principles of common sense, noting its alignment with Kazakhstan’s strategy of building a Just Kazakhstan. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral political and economic cooperation. Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s unwavering commitment to non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and enriched uranium, underscoring the importance of close collaboration with the IAEA. He also spoke positively about recent contacts with representatives of the White House and the U.S. business community. At the conclusion of the conversation, President Tokayev invited President Trump to visit Kazakhstan.
