Kazakh athletes claimed first and second place at the Turkic
Ski Cup in Uzbekistan. The competition among men and women was held for the
first time, and brought together more than 50 participants from member
countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Organizers aim to make
this event an annual tradition, further enhancing the region’s presence in
global winter sports. The Cup was organized under the auspices of the OTS in
collaboration with the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts, which includes Kazakhstan’s
Shymbulak, Uzbekistan’s Amirsoy, Azerbaijan’s Shahdag, and Türkiye’s Uludag.
