Tokayev sent a telegram to the People's Writer of Kazakhstan and public figure
Tolen Abdik, whose interview was recently published in the « Egemen Qazaqstan»
newspaper. The Head of State noted that he had read the article with interest,
as it contained valuable ideas regarding the spiritual life of the entire
nation.
«I consider your critical remarks on the
prospects for the development of domestic literature and your wise advice to
the younger generation to be highly timely. In an era of global instability, it
is the duty of the literary community to promote ideas of justice, goodness,
and universal values through artistic creativity. This is of great importance
for the future of our country,» reads
the telegram.
