The grand opening of the «Made in Italy» Days took place in
the capital of Turkmenistan. The event program featured masterclasses and
creative seminars for fashion design students, as well as industry
professionals. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest
trends in the fashion world, the craftsmanship secrets of Italian couturiers,
and innovative design approaches. Additionally, a fashion show was organized,
showcasing Italian fashion with elements of Turkmen national flair. The
collection was specially created for the event by renowned European designers.
«I have always been captivated by the uniqueness of Turkmen
fashion and its rich national flavor, which is why I decided to visit
Turkmenistan. I view this visit as a valuable opportunity to collaborate with
talented local designers. It was also an honor to present my own creations at
the show, inspired by the distinctive Turkmen style,» said Maria Gloria
Trevisani, an Italian designer.
«I continue to bring my sketches to life onto paper, using
modern approaches and my own vision while incorporating national motifs.
Collaborating with Italian designers at the event has been an inspiring and
valuable experience for me,» said Jennet Agayeva, a designer from Turkmenistan.
