Clothing featuring traditional Kazakh patterns and ornaments
is becoming increasingly popular in Europe. Kazakh-born designer Vitali Lang is
showcasing his homeland through the language of fashion. As a co-founder of an
Italian brand specializing in classic men’s wear, Lang draws inspiration from
nomadic culture. His collection is symbolically embellished with yurt elements
and national motifs. To emphasize the authenticity of the line, the collection
was photographed at iconic tourist sites across Kazakhstan. According to the
creators of the Italian brand, by showcasing Kazakhstan to European audiences,
they hope to spark interest and attract new international visitors—combining
fashion with travel.
«Our brand’s core value is a close connection with nature,
which is why we chose to dedicate our very first collection to Kazakhstan. The
country’s nature is wild, graceful, and breathtakingly beautiful, and we wanted
to share the story of Kazakhstan with Europe through the fashion industry. This
pattern here symbolizes a horn. Interestingly, there’s a coincidence—these
buttons, for example, are made from natural horn,» Lang said.
