President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Presidents of the International and Asian Paralympic
Committees. The Head of State thanked them for their contribution to the development of the movement
and confirmed the country’s readiness to support this sport. He emphasized that the achievements of Kazakh Paralympians on the world stage
contribute to shaping a positive image of Kazakhstan as an inclusive,
sustainable, and socially responsible country. Andrew Parsons and Majid Rashed noted the progress of Kazakh athletes,
highlighting their success at the recent Paris Paralympics, where the country
won nine medals, including its first two golds. The parties discussed prospects
for further cooperation, participation in competitions, and educational
initiatives. At the conclusion of the meeting, President Tokayev awarded the guests the Dostyk Order of the
second degree.
