Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the heads of the International Shooting Sport
Federation and the Asian Shooting Confederation – Luciano Rossi and Sheikh

Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan
traditionally pays great attention to the development of shooting sports. He expressed readiness to
continue supporting rifle
and clay target
shooting while
enhancing cooperation with international partners. The parties discussed issues
of modernizing shooting complexes in the country, introducing modern
methods of training athletes and expanding youth programs, including the work
of children’s
and youth sports clubs. Tokayev
presented the federation leaders with the Order of
Dostyk, second
degree.
