The Sixth Summit of Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia kicked off in the Kazakh capital. The heads of state and government of the CICA member states are taking part in the international forum. They are discussing both regional and global issues of the region and the continent. It bears noting that Kazakhstan has been chairing CICA for two years, while the forum itself marks its 30th anniversary this year. It was established on Kazakhstan’s initiative in 1992. CICA members include 27 countries.
