More than 400 exhibits were presented at the exhibition in Turkey, highlighting important stages in the development of Kazakhstan. Clothing collections, military equipment, and even white felt spread out at the inauguration of the country's First President are among them. The section ‘Turkic Unity’ presented collections of awards, official documents, and personal correspondence of the leaders of the two countries.
“We are delighted that such an exhibition is taking place in the National Library. It is the largest library in Turkey,” said Ayhan Tuglu, Director, Turkish Presidential Library.
A conference entitled ‘The Turkic World: History, Modernity, Future’ is also being held there. It brought together prominent political and public figures. Both events are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.
“There’s a good reason these two events were held in Turkey ahead of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence. Turkey is a brotherly state that was the first to recognize our independence and has always supported us,” said Bakytzhan Temirbolat, Director, Library of First President of Kazakhstan.
