Scholars in Almaty discussed the preparation of a unified two-volume
academic book on the history of
Turkic states. During the meeting,
they also determined the composition of international working groups, along with the structure and methodology of the forthcoming publication. The idea of creating a
joint monograph was proposed last year at the Summit of the Organization of
Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek. The
project, supervised by the Turkic
Academy, is currently involving scholars and experts. According to specialists, the work aims to provide a
scientific understanding of the shared historical heritage of Turkic peoples
and to contribute to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties among the countries.
