Children’s sports dance competition held in Turkmenistan

A sports dance competition among children’s centers was held in Turkmenistan. In the picturesque area of Gökdere, teams from across the country presented a vibrant and dynamic program. It featured European and Latin American dances, as well as elements of artistic gymnastics. Both solo and group performances were showcased. According to the organizers, sports dancing is steadily gaining popularity in Turkmenistan. Championships and tournaments are regularly held throughout the country, with young dancers aged 6 to 15 taking part. They demonstrate impressive training and artistry.

«The competition was incredibly exciting and emotional. We had been preparing for a long time, rehearsing every day. When I stepped onto the dance floor, I felt a bit nervous at first, but then the music took over, and I just danced, enjoying every movement. It was truly unforgettable!» shared secondary school student Bibikhajar Berdimuhamedova.

«We prepared a bright and dynamic dance with elements from different styles. Our coach told us that the most important thing was to show our energy and joy of dancing. We wanted the audience to feel our vibe, and I think we succeeded,» said secondary school student Garyagdy Jumadurdyyev.
