A sold-out concert featuring world-renowned
pop star Jennifer Lopez took place in Astana, drawing over 25,000 spectators to
the Astana Arena stadium. The spectacular show was part of her global Up All
Night tour and included a grand production with dozens of dancers and stunning
special effects. The audience sang along to Lopez’s iconic hits, including On
the Floor and Jenny from the Block. Some lucky fans even managed to take
selfies with the star as she came down to the fan zone at the end to personally
greet her admirers. Fans traveled to Astana not only from across Kazakhstan but
also neighboring countries to see the legendary performer. The concert’s
organization received high praise: around 1,300 police officers were deployed
to ensure order, and multiple stadium entrances and exits were used. According
to many attendees, the evening was the musical event of the year.
