Presidents of Kazakhstan, Palestine hold telephone conversation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held a telephone conversation to discuss prospects for strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation. The two leaders exchanged views on resolving the situation in the Middle East. The Head of State reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s support for international efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region through the two-state solution. Mahmoud Abbas highlighted Kazakhstan’s important role in promoting global stability and security. At the conclusion of the conversation, the Head of State invited the President of Palestine to pay a visit to Astana.
