President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Luigi Carraro, President of the International Padel Federation, and Nasser bin Ghanim Al-Khelaifi, Chairman of Premier Padel Tour, to discuss the development of padel in Kazakhstan. Currently, regional federations operate in 16 regions, with 17 courts in use. By 2027, Almaty will host a state-of-the-art complex featuring 10 international-standard courts, expected to become one of the largest in Central Asia and capable of hosting Premier Padel tournaments. The Head of State emphasized that cooperation with the international federation will help popularize padel and enhance Kazakhstan’s sporting image on the global stage.
