President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Gennady
Golovkin on his official induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
This was reported by Aibek Smadiyarov, Advisor and Press Secretary to the
President. The Head of State said the historic achievement demonstrates the
significance of the legendary Kazakh athlete’s legacy for global sport. Gennady
Golovkin is a symbol of Kazakhstan’s sporting glory and an ambassador of the
country in the international sporting community, Tokayev noted. He also expressed
confidence that the achievements of one of the world’s greatest boxers will
continue to inspire younger generations to pursue ambitious goals.
