A military history museum has opened in the Akmola region. A branch began operating in the village of Rodina, where over 100 exhibits, including around 16 pieces of wartime military equipment, are displayed in a single location. These include armored vehicles, artillery, aviation equipment, and small arms. The exhibition also features archival materials on the exploits of heroes from the Akmola region, as well as original battle flags. The main goal of the new museum complex is to serve as a significant site for military-patriotic education of young people and the preservation of historical memory.
«This is not just a museum, but a place of remembrance, respect, and education for younger and future generations. It serves as a center of spiritual revival, ensuring continuity and respect for the heroic deeds of past generations. The exhibition features authentic records of the heroism of our ancestors in the fight against fascism,» said Kazakh Defense Minister Dauren Kossanov.
«We
will be visiting the museum with great pleasure. I really like it here. I’ll
bring my children so they can see everything with their own eyes - I’ve already
been telling them how great it is. This is important for their development,» said Vera
Golovko, Rodina village resident.
