The Kazakh government has approved the new draft
national budget for 2025-2027, based on the country’s socio-economic
development forecast. Specifically, budget revenues for 2025 are projected to
reach 21.7 trillion tenge, with a guaranteed transfer of two trillion tenge
from the National Fund also planned. According to the government, the budget
will remain socially oriented, with around 10 trillion tenge planned for this
sector next year. These funds will be used for indexing social payments,
increasing educational grants, and expanding access to medical care. Regional
support is also a priority, with around 7.5 trillion tenge planned for this
purpose in 2025. Additionally, over two trillion tenge will be allocated to the
real sector of the economy, including the development of the agro-industrial
complex, transportation infrastructure, and support for entrepreneurship, as
well as small and medium-sized businesses.
