Kazakhstan’s national budget for 2025–2027 remains socially oriented

The Kazakh government has approved the new draft national budget for 2025-2027, based on the country’s socio-economic development forecast. Specifically, budget revenues for 2025 are projected to reach 21.7 trillion tenge, with a guaranteed transfer of two trillion tenge from the National Fund also planned. According to the government, the budget will remain socially oriented, with around 10 trillion tenge planned for this sector next year. These funds will be used for indexing social payments, increasing educational grants, and expanding access to medical care. Regional support is also a priority, with around 7.5 trillion tenge planned for this purpose in 2025. Additionally, over two trillion tenge will be allocated to the real sector of the economy, including the development of the agro-industrial complex, transportation infrastructure, and support for entrepreneurship, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
