Mazhilis approves Senate’s amendments to cyberbullying draft law

Members of the Mazhilis agreed with the amendments made by the Senate on the bill on children’s rights protection, abolishing the possibility of a total blocking of social networks if cyberbullying of children is spotted there. Now reports on these cases will be reviewed not by a state body, but by an expert group created specifically for this purpose. Earlier, the amendments to the bill had broad public resonance. Now the document approved by the Mazhilismen, where all proposals and opinions on children’s rights protection were taken into account, was sent for signature to the Head of State.
