Starting next year, Kazakhstan will launch a unified registry of domestic manufacturers. Companies included in the registry will receive priority in procurement and support from the state. To participate, entrepreneurs must submit an application on the online portal, signed with a digital electronic signature, and undergo verification and production assessment. Some of the data has already been uploaded into the system from government databases, while other information is provided by the applicant. The system then analyzes the information to confirm that the production facilities are located within the country. Companies included in the registry will be subject to regular monitoring.
«The key
advantage of this registry, compared to the previous mechanism, is, of course,
digitalization. Submission of applications, their verification, and
decision-making will take place entirely online, ensuring transparency and
control at every stage,» said Kazakh Minister of Industry and
Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev.
