Kazakhstan to launch new AI startups in education and industry

Kazakhstan has developed a digital textbook that adapts to each student’s learning level and tracks their progress, as well as a technological platform to support sports development. The AI Kitap and OlympIQ projects are set for pilot implementation in schools and sports federations across the country, with participating institutions already selected. These initiatives were presented to Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov by representatives of Kazakh IT companies during a meeting on AI startups in the social sector. Bektenov emphasized that advancing artificial intelligence is one of the government’s priorities and pledged comprehensive support for domestic IT innovations. The meeting also addressed the development of technologies for industrial applications. Intelligent data analysis, forecasting, and automation systems help optimize production processes, improve efficiency in the energy and transportation sectors, reduce costs, and manage risks. Following the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed relevant agencies to review the proposals of IT specialists.
