Since the beginning of the year, Kazakhstan’s economy has grown by 3.7%. The manufacturing sector recorded a 9% increase, with particularly strong momentum in mechanical engineering. From January to May, over 80,000 vehicles were produced in the country. The chemical industry grew by nearly 18%, while construction materials production showed an even higher rate. These figures were presented at a meeting on economic growth. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the need to intensify efforts to implement investment projects and accelerate the commissioning of new production facilities.
