Kazakhstan plans to become digital hub of Eurasia

Kazakhstan aims to become the largest digital hub in Eurasia and a leader in integrating artificial intelligence across all sectors. The country could achieve full digitalization within the next five years, as stated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum. Delegates from several countries, including representatives from Congo, visited Astana to learn from Kazakhstan’s experience, explore opportunities for digital transformation, and establish business partnerships in this field. Last year, the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry signed a memorandum of understanding with the country. The two sides have already begun implementing joint projects, with Kazakhstan sharing its expertise in deploying advanced digital solutions in cybersecurity, space research, and improving the quality of public services.

«It’s for us a very big experience, because we used to come here before and we hope we’ll get solution what we need for our country. So, Kazakhstan has got maybe many developments in ICT, in technology, in AI we see also and in cybersecurity. So, that’s why we are here. We start working with the NITEC and for the space project we’re working for KGS (Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary) from Kazakhstan. So, it means that we are so happy to be here and to see what other projects we could start with Kazakhstan government,» noted Emery Wilson Bokatola, Frequency Resources Director, Postal and Electronic Communications Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Congo.
