A total of 540,000 Kazakh students have completed courses in artificial intelligence. They studied under the AI-Sana program on the platforms Astana Hub, Google, Huawei, and Coursera. The program is adapted to labor market requirements and aims to train specialists in demand across key sectors of the economy. The focus is on students majoring in agriculture, water management, and energy. The new knowledge will help them develop digital entrepreneurial competencies while gradually deepening their expertise in the field of AI. At the next stage, 100,000 students are expected to be selected. They will have the opportunity to acquire business skills, as well as the fundamentals of programming and machine learning.
«Next, 60,000
graduates of the program will move on to the second stage, where they will
structure their projects and receive training in business orientation. By the
end of next year, it is expected that, as a result of this program, our
students will have created 1,500 projects and ideas, which will then go through
the acceleration and pre-acceleration stages of the program
in Alem.ai,» noted Dinara Shcheglova, Kazakh Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education.
