Kazakhstan focuses on developing creative industries

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Creative Industries Development Fund. This is a key institution supporting the sector, established on the instructions of the Head of State. The new space is intended to become an attraction point for talented youth, developers, investors, and tourists. It features workshops, music halls, and a fashion zone. One of the main locations is the immersive space Yurt Capsule. The project combines digital art, multimedia content, and cultural storytelling. The Head of State was also presented with the concept of Kazakhstan’s country branding, aimed at unlocking tourism potential through a modern interpretation of cultural heritage, creative industries, and strengthening national identity. Notably, the Fund’s work is focused on supporting talent, attracting investment, developing infrastructure, and promoting domestic products in foreign markets. It will also serve as a coordination center for hubs opened in all regional centers.
