Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region has become the setting for a major
international film project. Filming of Armour of
God 4: Ultimatum, starring
Jackie Chan, has begun in the scenic Bozzhyra Tract. The filmmakers believe
that showcasing Kazakhstan’s landscapes will introduce millions of viewers
worldwide to the country’s unique nature, as well as its historical and
cultural heritage. Experts note that such projects contribute to the
development of the creative industry, boost the tourism appeal of the regions, and
strengthen Kazakhstan’s international image. Production is expected to be
completed this year, with release set for 2027. The film is directed by Kazakh
filmmaker Robert Kun.
