Kazakh, Russian Presidents hold telephone conversation

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The leaders discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries, noting its development in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. They also reviewed the implementation of agreements in trade, energy, industry, and transport. Special attention was given to preparations for President Tokayev’s upcoming state visit to Russia. Current regional and international issues were also discussed.
