President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with representatives of NVIDIA and
Firebird AI to discuss prospects
for cooperation in the design, construction, and operation of AI infrastructure
in Kazakhstan. According to the Head of State, the country aims to become a
fully digital state within the next three years. An important
step in this direction, as well as in strengthening technological sovereignty,
has been the launch of supercomputer clusters based on NVIDIA technologies. The
President also outlined plans for the implementation of the
strategic Data Center Valley project in Ekibastuz, which envisages the creation of computing infrastructure
with access to affordable electricity, telecommunications, and tax incentives
for investors. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore
opportunities for joint activities in developing the AI ecosystem.
