Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan. Tokayev emphasized that Mirziyoyeva’s visit is important for advancing the strategic partnership between Astana and Tashkent. The two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
«In our political systems, presidential administrations play an important role, and I fully support the development of active working contacts between them. The closer we interact, the better it will be for ensuring stability in Central Asia and strengthening regional cooperation, as both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are major states in many respects,» the President said.
President Tokayev extended his warm wishes to Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In turn, Saida Mirziyoyeva conveyed sincere greetings from the President of Uzbekistan, noting that he has consistently attached particular importance to deepening multifaceted cooperation with Kazakhstan.
