Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prosecutor
General Berik Assylov,
who reported that legal assistance was provided to 445 investors who directed over eight trillion tenge in the country’s economy. Thanks to the «prosecutorial filter», 500 decisions made by state bodies
against investors have been
turned
down to be agreed on. The measures taken allowed to increase the level of
trust of
businesses in the institutions of state power. The Head of State was also briefed on
the
work of the Prosecutor's Office on the return of assets, including from abroad,
amounting to US$205
million. Also, a
total of 17 million hectares of illegally granted and unused agricultural land have
been returned to the state and involved in the turnover.
