2007, the prestigious international ranking has been evaluating the
parameters of 133 countries across 80 various areas. Most
importantly, it serves as an essential indicator for developing new innovation
strategies and assessing their impact on the development of countries. The rating
editors also emphasized Kazakhstan's entry into the world’s Top-30
countries in such categories as Online government, where the country took eighth position, and Electronic
participation, where it ranks 15th. According to experts, promotion in the ranking is
an international assessment of the state reforms, contributing to enhancing the country’s international
reputation and attracting direct investments.
