Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived at Al
Husseiniya Palace in Amman, where he was welcomed with a solemn ceremony. The
Head of State is on an official visit to Jordan. He was greeted by King
Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and Crown Prince Al Hussein. In honour of the
distinguished guest, a guard of honour was assembled in the square in front of
the palace, and the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Jordan were performed by
a military orchestra. Following the Head of the Guard of Honour’s report, the
heads of state proceeded to the negotiation hall. They discussed prospects for
developing cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, industry,
agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism, energy, digitalization, and
pharmaceuticals.
