The heads of international conventions highly praised
the organization of the Regional Ecological Summit. During a meeting with them,
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude
for their support and voiced confidence that their experience would contribute
to advancing practical approaches to addressing shared climate challenges. The
Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan advocates the implementation of environmental
responsibility principles at both the regional and global levels. This is also
reflected in the new Constitution, which enshrines environmental protection as
one of the fundamental principles of state policy. Representatives of
international conventions welcomed the Taza Qazaqstan program and expressed
their support for the country’s global initiatives to address climate and
water-related issues.
