Kazakh PM holds operational meeting on President Tokayev’s instructions

Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held an operational meeting on the implementation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s instructions regarding the situation around Ukraine. Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov briefed him on the ongoing work to protect the country’s strategic and infrastructure facilities. The minister was given a number of tasks, primarily focused on strengthening the actions of government agencies. Additionally, the leadership of authorized agencies was instructed to keep special control over the execution of the Head of State’s instructions on ensuring security and to report promptly on changes in the situation.
