Kazakh President discusses digital cooperation with ITU Secretary-General

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of digital and telecommunications technologies during a meeting with International Telecommunication Union Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin. The Head of State emphasized the development of a modern digital ecosystem and infrastructure in the country, and noted Kazakhstan’s active participation in projects involving low-orbit satellite systems, including OneWeb, Starlink, and Amazon Kuiper. Doreen Bogdan-Martin commended the country’s efforts to advance the digital industry and introduce artificial intelligence.
