Kazakhstan celebrates its National Day at Expo 2025 in Japan

Kazakhstan’s flag was raised in Japan as the country celebrated its National Day at Expo 2025 in Osaka. To mark the occasion, a grand parade was held at the World Exhibition, featuring performers, batyrs, and Kazakh strongman Sergey Tsyrulnikov, a four-time world record holder in strength feats.

The highlight of the celebration was a concert that drew an audience of around 3,000 people. The stage featured performances by the Dina Nurpeisova Orchestra of Folk Instruments, ethno-folk ensembles, and dance groups.

The Kazakhstan pavilion has been highly popular among EXPO visitors, attracting around one million people so far.

«The pavilion is of interest to local residents and exhibition visitors for its presentation of Kazakh culture and history. It showcases Kazakhstan’s potential, including its diverse tourism and investment opportunities. We have also put great effort into reflecting the exhibition’s theme. In our second zone, we highlight Kazakhstan’s commitment to green technology development,» noted Daulet Yerkimbayev, General Commissioner of Kazakhstan Section at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 Osaka.
