Once again, the Astana Opera Ballet Company captivated
audiences during its successful tour in Dubai, UAE. The theatre presented Pyotr
Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker, staged by the legendary choreographer Yuri
Grigorovich. Notably, this ballet has been part of the capital’s theatre
repertoire for 10 years, consistently evoking genuine emotions from audiences
with its enchanting portrayal of a winter fairy tale. Over four days, all six
performances by Astana Opera in Dubai were sold out and received standing
ovations. Kazakh artists once again demonstrated their mastery on the world
stage.
