The government has adopted the unified «Children of Kazakhstan» concept,
aimed at ensuring the systematic protection of the rights and interests of the
younger generation. Developed at the instruction of President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev, the program sets out specific measures across education, healthcare,
safety, social protection, and
the family well-being of children.
The document also provides for the continued implementation and updating of the
legal and regulatory framework for the protection of minors’ rights. As State
Counsellor Erlan Karin noted on his social media account, Children of
Kazakhstan is a comprehensive, long-term policy document that forms the
basis of state policy on safeguarding children’s rights and promoting the
well-being of the younger generation. These issues remain among the country’s
top priorities and continue to be a constant focus of the Head of State.
