Now, people in Montenegro can get acquainted with the works
of Abai Kunanbaiuly. To mark the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet,
philosopher, and educator, a center bearing his name has opened in the city of
Podgorica. Its collection includes over 100 documents - works by Abai
translated into foreign languages, his philosophical treatises, books on Abai
studies, and other scholarly research. The materials were provided by the
National Academic Library of Kazakhstan and the Abai State Historical-Cultural
and Literary-Memorial Museum-Reserve ‘Zhidebai-Borili’.
