Unique Kazakh musical works are now
available all over the world. The largest platforms Apple Music, Spotify,
Yandex Music, and YouTube Music feature 1,500 specially curated compositions as
part of the Assyl Mura audio collection. Dedicated to the Kazakh nation’s rich
song and folklore heritage, the collection includes traditional musical
compositions called kuis and zhyr-terme, folk songs, works of composers, fairy
tales, lullabies, and retro hits. The peculiarity of the audiobook lies in
original recordings of the first performers, previously preserved by the State
Television and Radio Corporation in its archive. Speaking at the presentation,
State Counselor of Kazakhstan Erlan Karin noted that the collection’s release on
international streaming services will give a new impetus to the popularization
of national culture.
«Now, the fight for our national unity,
independence, and values will take place in the digital space. Those who pass
on their heritage, history, and culture will ensure the longevity of their
people,» Karin said.
