General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central
Committee Tô Lâm took part as an honorary guest in the military parade marking
the 80th anniversary of Victory. After the event, President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev and Tô Lâm visited the ‘Ethnoaul’ exhibition dedicated to the cultural
heritage of the Kazakh people. The guests were shown thematic zones highlighting
national history, traditional clothing, crafts, rituals, hunting traditions,
musical instruments, and folk games. A highlight of the visit was Tô Lâm’s
participation in the Kazakh Tusaukeser ceremony - a symbolic cutting of bonds
on the child’s legs. This tradition represents a wish for a smooth and
successful life path.
