International experts from the
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) shared their
experience in responding effectively and promptly to outbreaks of dangerous
zoonotic diseases with Kazakh veterinarians. During practical training
sessions, specialists from England and Hungary demonstrated effective methods
for combating these infections. This included developing risk assessment
frameworks, investigating outbreak causes, utilizing technologies to identify
sources of disease spread, and implementing biosecurity measures. Additionally,
the foreign experts provided guidance on animal vaccination schemes. It is
worth noting that the project aims to support Kazakhstan in strengthening its
veterinary services.
