Kazakhstan and Italy are set to produce goods
under a single brand name, considering an initiative to create a joint “Made in
Kazakhstan with Italy” trademark. According to forecasts, one of the
promising products that will be in demand in the Italian market is horse meat.
Experts note that Kazakhstan can offer organic chilled meat, as well as export
supplies of caviar and honey. It is worth noting that Kazakhstan annually
exports horse meat valued at over $140 million to Italy. The Kazakh Ministry of
Trade and Integration plans to support local producers by launching a register
of goods of Kazakh origin, which will be available to all stakeholders and
serve as the sole source of information about domestic products. The total exports
potential of processed goods from Kazakhstan to Italy exceeds $260 million.
Italy is ready to purchase Kazakh organic food products.
