Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus reached $900
million last year. In the first quarter of 2025, it increased by 3.6% to
approximately $200 million. Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with his
Belarusian counterpart Alexander Turchin in Dushanbe on the sidelines of the
CIS Council of Heads of Government. The two sides discussed strengthening trade
and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus, coordinating the
implementation of high-level agreements, and advancing joint initiatives in the
CIS framework aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and improving the
well-being of the populations of their countries.
