Kazakhstan is steadily increasing its role
in global geopolitics through ongoing reforms, as highlighted by Azerbaijani
diplomat Namiq Aliyev. He emphasized that the nation is carrying out effective
work in all areas. From an economic
perspective, the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route
is of great importance.
«I believe the six-year presidency of Mr.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is a clear example of effective state leadership. It
demonstrates how to build relations with both neighboring and non-neighboring
countries, establishing these ties on an economic foundation and, of course,
ultimately expanding and developing cultural cooperation and exchange between
these nations,» Aliyev said.
Georgian political scientist Vakhtang
Maisaya shares the view that Kazakhstan’s political reforms serve as a valuable
example for South Caucasus countries. He specifically highlighted the high
standards of Kazakhstan’s presidential and parliamentary elections, noting that
he joined them as an international observer. Maisaya also acknowledged Tokayev’s
significant personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
«The relationship between Georgia and
Kazakhstan has now evolved into a strategic level. While we were good neighbors
and close friends, this level of cooperation had not been achieved before.
After Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s election, these relations have grown into a
strategic partnership. This was formalized during the visit of the Georgian
official delegation to Astana and the visit of senior Kazakh officials to
Georgia,» Maisaya noted.
