The prospects for strengthening the strategic
partnership between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are set to be discussed by
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Emomali Rahmon. From August 22 to 23, the
Kazakh President will make a state visit to Tajikistan at the invitation of the
Tajik President. The parties will hold high-level talks both in a narrow format
and with the participation of government delegations from both countries. A
number of bilateral documents aimed at deepening cooperation in the political,
trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres are also planned to be
signed.
