«I specifically came to the sacred land of Turkistan. The region has a bright future. I would like to thank our veterans who set an example for our youth. We must prioritize supporting the younger generation. We need to work together for the good of our country. You are all well aware of the current situation. There are various external risks. The Turkistan region is home to representatives of many nationalities, and the city of Turkistan itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintainedTokayev said.

The Head of State also visited the Bilim Innovation boarding school, which specializes in natural sciences and mathematics. Earlier this year, this educational institution relocated from Kentau to a new building in Turkistan. Notably, over 500 students are currently enrolled in the school. As part of the Comfortable School national project, a total of 29 schools are under construction in the Turkistan region, with an additional 13 educational institutions scheduled for completion this year. President Tokayev also toured the Ice Palace, which has been built to modern standards. Young athletes can practice short-track speed skating, figure skating and ice hockey simultaneously throughout the year, thanks to special technology that allows for changing the shape of the rink. The young athletes demonstrated their skills to President Tokayev, who wished them and their coaches good luck. In turn, the hockey players of the Turan Tigers club presented the Head of State with the team uniform.
