Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev received Foreign Minister of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos. The Head of
State noted that Kazakhstan is set to develop partnership relations with the
country and welcomed the decision of the Cyprus Government to open an Embassy
in Astana. This step will mark a new chapter in diplomatic relations, which
have strengthened and expanded in more than 30 years, and will also give an
impetus to develop partnerships. For his part, Constantinos Kombos noted the
immense potential for expanding cooperation between the countries.
