Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Alexey Volkov, Director of
the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the
President of Kazakhstan, in connection with his nomination for the position of
Deputy Secretary-General of the International Organization for the Russian
Language. Established to promote humanitarian initiatives and implement joint
projects in culture, science, and education among member states, the organization
was founded by Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan,
and Uzbekistan.
